Stuck in windows because you need to use IE to verify your CSS magic? I’ve got great news for you, my friend, because IE now runs in Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, Mac OS X…
It can’t get easier than IEs 4 Linux. See for yourself, here is the Ubuntu/Debian version:
sudo apt-get install cabextract wine wget http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/downloads/ies4linux-2.0beta6.tar.gz tar xfz ies4linux-2.0beta6.tar.gz cd ies4linux-2.0beta6 ./ies4linux
Bingo! You’ve got IE on your favourite OS. From now on, ~/bin/ie6 will allow you to enjoy Redmond’s quirky browser.
